Delete your Cruise Mystery Files account and data

How Cruise Mystery Files stores your information

Cruise Mystery Files does not use passwords or a customer login. A case is activated on a device, and a reservation is held against the email address and reference you were given when you reserved. So a deletion request here covers the records we actually hold about you, listed below, rather than a username and password.

What we will delete

Where applicable, deletion may include:

• your Cruise Mystery Files account or activation profile;
• app and device associations;
• game sessions and synchronized progress;
• puzzle and hint activity;
• deduction and accusation records associated with you;
• saved game state held on our systems;
• notification-related records;
• sailing inquiries, coverage requests and priority-list entries;
• customer profile information we no longer need; and
• marketing preferences and other non-required data.

What may be retained

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for legal or legitimate purposes, including:

• payment and refund records;
• tax and accounting records;
• chargeback or dispute records;
• fraud-prevention and security records; and
• records necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

Information retained for one of these purposes will not continue to be used as an active Cruise Mystery Files account.

Before you request deletion

Deleting your data may permanently remove your downloaded entitlement associations, synchronized game progress, completed case history, puzzle and hint history, and scores or achievements. This information may not be recoverable.

Request deletion

We will email you a confirmation link. Your request is not actioned until you follow it, so that nobody can request deletion of somebody else’s information.
